How To Self Induce Labor At Home

Maternity Acupressure is one of the most effective and safest ways to self induce labor at home. It has been proven to be safe by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the US National Institutes of Health (NIH). There are no side effects.

It is no wonder there are so many doctors, midwives, doulas, and woman worldwide who have adopted this technique and recommend it to induce labor yourself.

Here is one of the points in maternity acupressure. The P6 point helps the cervix dilate, and can be used when the cervix is not effectively dilating during labor.

It is located four finger widths above the tip of ankle bone on the inside of the ankle. Apply direct pressure on one leg using your index finger and thumb for one minute. Break for 20 minutes then apply pressure to the other leg. Some women will feel their cervix stretching and contractions strengthening. For this reason this is forbidden during pregnancy and only meant to be used for induction of labor.
